Increasing Productivity through Innovation
Managers and leaders face many challenges in today’s fast-moving global economy. Two of these significant challenges were addressed on our recent training course held on 17th ~ 21st February in London. The course covered “Innovation & Productivity in the Workplace: Personal Skills for Professional Excellence” and participants had the opportunity to examine and develop their professional skills across these two key challenges to improve productivity, not through scarce & costly resources, but through innovation.
Today an organisation may have products and services way ahead of the competition, but what about tomorrow? Contrary to popular myth, doing the same thing each day does not always bring the same result. One day you are “King” of the market, the next you are the “Joker.” Perhaps the market requirements have changed, such as in the case of Kodak, or new technologies have become fashionable, such as Apple. Productivity is vital but without innovation you cannot be “King” for long.
Participants are invited to create an agenda of improved productivity and innovation to meet these new challenges. Being proactive to lead and taking the necessary action they apply tools and templates which instil both improved productivity and innovation in their personal and team’s performance. They also have the opportunity to diagnose current processes and procedures to generate areas of improvement.
